Resistance Equipment
Oxygym features a comprehensive range of resistance exercise equipment manufactured to the highest standards in the UK. Our equipment can be found in many of the Countries finest Health and Fitness Clubs. Because of this we are confident that our equipment is the best available and will fully support the exercise needs of our members.
Free Weights
A dedicated and extensive free weights area satisfies the needs of those who wish to train in the traditional manner. Dumbbells up to 50kg, 2 Smiths machines, squat rack, Olympic bench press and an extensive range of benches, free weights and bars provide the exerciser with an enviable and comprehensive package of options.
Cardio Area
Oxygym have invested heavily in a superb cardio area. Our range of equipment includes Rowers, exercise cycles, treadmills, cross-trainers, cross-ramps and steppers. Manufactured in the USA this equipment will satisfy exercisers of all abilities whether you are exercising to lose weight, shape up or train for a specific sport.
Aerobics Studio
The Aerobics Studio is designed to accommodate all our classes from Pilates to Boxercise. The rubberised compound floor is designed to minimise impact allowing you to get the most out of your session. We also feature punch bags in the Studio and these may be used when the studio is class free.
Saunas
There are dedicated male and female saunas located in the men's and ladies changing rooms. Saunas are available during opening hours for members to relax and unwind.
Vertical Tanning Units
There are four superb 200watt vertical tanning units situated in Oxygym. These tanning units are supplied by a leading UK manufacturer and are made to the highest standards. These tanning units will provide a deep and rewarding tan all year round. Advice and guidance on tanning can be obtained from reception at anytime.
